Drilling Operations Level 2, 3 and 4 Functional Structure and Oman National Occupational Standards (Oman NOS) will be developed in partnership with employers and other appropriate organizations across Oman. Nos set out the skills, knowledge, and understanding required by employers to undertake a particular job role to a nationally recognized level of competence.

We would like for the participants to thoroughly understand of National Occupational Standards (NOS) development. The key areas that the review will focus on: • Are the functional structure pathways (job roles) relevant? • If not, what changes are required? • Are there any missing NOS that should be developed and be included in the Functional Structure? • Is the content of the NOS technically correct? • Is there anything missing in the scope of the NOS and /or knowledge statements? • Is there anything that should not be in the NOS e.
