Roadworthiness Assurance Standards (RAS) Inspection Scheme has been established to ensure that all vehicles in Oil and Gas operations comply with the requirements of latest version of OPAL Road Safety Standard. All Operators, contractors and subcontractors and applicable vendors and suppliers are responsible for ensuring via a structured inspection scheme that their own and sub-contracted vehicles are maintained in a roadworthy condition at all times.
